At the age of 20, despite a severe speech stutter, he excelled as a life insurance representative and obtained an amateur radio license. His interest in backward messages in rock and roll music led him to experiment with playing tapes backwards, culminating in the development of his Reverse Speech theory by 1987.

Over the past 40 years, David has published over a dozen books on Reverse Speech, including titles such as "Beyond Backward Masking" and "The Great Reverse Speech Lexicon." He has lectured worldwide, overcoming his stutter to address thousands and train hundreds of students. His work has been featured on numerous radio shows and television programs, including CNN and Larry King Live.

David has been compared to inventors like Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla, with his work recognized for its implications in law enforcement, business, and psychology. He is a certified hypnotherapist and runs a therapy and corporate consulting business utilizing reverse speech techniques. Additionally, he is an accomplished public speaker with an active international schedule.
