In this episode of The Melanated Files podcast we discussed the importance of ownership within the black community. Ownership in the sense of turning our gaze towards being producers than merely people who perpetually occupy the seat of consumers. This is one way to gain more control over our lives and solve some of the problems that we face as a community. In this episode we also invited our first guest, Dean Jackson who is a forward thinking entrepreneur based in Japan who spoke on the blockchain, cryptocurrency and Steem.
