Hi everyone and welcome to The Magellan Network Show. This week, I want to share a conversation with a successful advisor who someone referred to me. Despite his financial success, our discussion revealed a common issue in our industry: advisors often neglect their own growth and planning. It reminded me of the saying, "The cobbler's children have no shoes." While advisors excel at helping others, they can overlook their own needs, making our industry feel like the neglected stepchild. I have spent over 25 years coaching only financial advisors. In that time, I have personally conducted over 50,000 individual coaching sessions.
