I’ve compiled 6 ladies from different climates and preferred kayaking and kayak fishing methods to join me for this round table discussion on Cold Water and talk about gear that works as well as important improvements that need to be made to accommodate the Women on the Water. We’ll be discussing cold water safety and apparel for women kayakers and anglers, and some of the differences they face. Speaking with women from all walks of life and experience, this episode gives us an all inclusive discussion of how to stay safe while on the water, first hand tips and tricks for cold water safety, and answering questions from other kayakers that prompted the entire discussion. This podcast features Angie Lovett who’s our subject matter expert on Cold Water Safety (and the wife of Moulton Avery, the Founder and Director for the National Center for Cold Water Safety) to share her knowledge on how to stay safe, do’s and dont’s and personal experience.
