Harris says Trump is avoiding the media… Kamala: "He's not doing interviews... We need to ask if he's exhausted being on the campaign trail." Media interviews since becoming the nominee: Trump: 59 Kamala: 26 Press conferences since becoming the nominee: Trump: 6 Kamala: 0 Total campaign events in the month of September: Trump: 21 Kamala: 13 Donald Trump is a man of his word. And when I saw that Trump followed through on this promise, I knew then America would give him his rightful second term. Recall that I https://theblacksphere.net/2024/10/trumps-award-winning-troll-of-kamala-harris/ about Trump trolling Kamala Harris on working at McDonald's. Ever the showman, Donald Trump has managed " The Art of the Troll" to epic proportions in his mocking of Kamala Harris. Understand that Kamala Harris has positioned herself as a round the way girl. By now we all know that she "grew up in a middle-class family raised by her mother". And adding to the story of Harris' upbringing is the idea that she's so normal she worked at a McDonald's for a bit. While there doesn't seem to be much evidence of this, Team Harris sticks to the story in their attempt to make her more relatable to Average Joe America. Not that the story has accomplished this, but Team Trump has apparently decided to one-up the narrative. This tweet from X influencer "George" indicates that Trump is going to show that he's more relatable to Average Joe America, and work at McDonald's: He's doing it 😂 Trump will be officially working at a McDonald's in Pennsylvania this weekend to prove that he has worked at McDonald's longer than Kamala This is a new level of trolling https://t.co/SuDTx7Wdc1 — George (@BehizyTweets) https://twitter.com/BehizyTweets/status/1846317489279426953?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Mission Accomplished: Trump actually worked at McDonald's. Trump just roasted Kamala at McDonald’s😂
"I've now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala" He exposed her BS! https://t.co/7NBy1IOced — DC_Draino (@DC_Draino) https://twitter.com/DC_Draino/status/1848066975064555879?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw And while we can't see the crowd that gathered, I can only imagine how much publicity this stunt bought Trump in earned media in the City of Brotherly Love. Here's a slightly better vantage point where you can see the crowd that has gathered: BREAKING: Former President Donald Trump was spotted working at a McDonald's, taking orders at the drive-thru after spending some time at the fryer. This unexpected career move comes as Vice President Kamala Harris mentioned her past experience working in fast food. https://t.co/8NR1ATUzvq — Wired_In (@GetWired_In) https://twitter.com/GetWired_In/status/1848067548421759347?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Move over PT Barnum When I consider what Trump did her, all I can say is this is a genius move. A billionaire working at McDonald's because his running mate pretends to be in touch with the average American. Ironically, Trump truly is more in touch with the average American than Harris. And this shows in his policies and his polling. From the policy perspective, Trump understands menial work. That's why he proposed no taxes on tips and no taxes on overtime. Both brilliant ideas, and proof that Trump isn't only thinking about billionaires. By the way, almost all the Harris commercials not related to abortion try to paint Trump as a president who only cares about the wealthiest citizens. That's why moves like this are such narrative killers. Worse, Harris can't duplicate it. Because it would be seen as theft. She tried this with "no tax on tips". That went over so well, she hasn't mentioned it in weeks. Social Media Reactions You have to love what the crowd says. And the consensus is that Trump rocked the troll. Below are just a few of the thousands of comments. And almost all of them were complimentary to Trump: Donald Trump is the best politician that America has seen in modern times. The establishment clowns wouldn’t dare to “taint” themselves with a fast food shift. Dude, Is This Real!!!!––How can u not love this guy! Yo, https://x.com/KamalaHarris https://x.com/Tim_Walz https://x.com/BarackObama https://x.com/BillClinton https://x.com/HillaryClinton https://x.com/TheDemocrats, step off your high horses and chill down here with us—the real ones! That’s why people love him – he’s real, not some empty suit He is a beast Amazing! Only he could turn a fast-food shift into a mic-drop moment. Trump just effortlessly cooking the fries and Lying Kamala all at once. He’s on another level. He's clearly having so much fun, how can anyone not find this endearing Omg, he's the best at trolling. I love Trump. My friend Laura Loomer found this throwback clip of Trump doing a commercial for McDonald's. Throwback Donald Trump is working at ⁦https://twitter.com/McDonalds?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw⁩ today. 🤣🤣🤣 🍟 https://t.co/GMDiGWGZsF — Laura Loomer (@LauraLoomer) https://twitter.com/LauraLoomer/status/1848047282803064976?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw While that commercial might have done well, it won't compare to what this stunt does for McDonald's if only at this location. Kudos to another great political move by Trump.
[X] SB – Trump throwback commercial [X] SB – Trump on working at McDonalds Donald Trump just pulled off the ultimate troll, and Kamala Harris doesn’t even know what hit her. His little McDonald’s stunt? This is awesome 😎
https://t.co/RMkE20qWo2 — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1848138218673258875?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw 46 million people viewed the above clip when I began this article. I wouldn't be surprised if this doubled in the next few days. Oh, it was more than a simple publicity act—it was a strategic body slam that left Harris clutching her $18,000 Tiffany necklace, wondering what just happened to her "middle-class" persona. Let’s break it down. You remember when Kamala visited the border, looking like she was doing a nasty-girl photo shoot for Vogue. Nothing screams "relatable" like wearing a five-figure necklace while touring one of America’s biggest immigration crises. But Trump? He’s got billions, yet somehow manages to avoid the whole “Thurston Howell III” vibe. He’s more like that billionaire-next-door who makes you forget his wealth, because he tosses your paper on your porch when it happens to land in his yard. Trump relates to the Average Joe, but knows when to flaunt his billionaire status, usually to knock some pompous ass off his or her high horse. Democrats put Trump's "Ordinary Billionaire" status on full display when they attacked him. Letitia James made Trump the poster child for "persecuted billionaires", when she tried to strip him of his home. And let's not forget that the FBI raided his home and was given the "kill order" to get whatever the Biden administration felt was worth murdering a former president or his family. Folks, you just can't get more ghetto and relatable than that. Suddenly, Trump isn’t the out-of-reach mega MAGA mogul; he’s the “little guy” being attacked by the system. And what did that do? It turned Trump into an American folk hero. He’s officially the billionaire who's “one of us” because he’s been beaten down by “The Man”—except this “Man” happens to be a corrupt political machine. Then Trump pulled the McDonald’s move and here's the fallout By doing a shift at McDonald’s, Trump accomplished two things: First, he exposed Harris as a poser who profits off the backs of working Americans. Trump used Harris' false claim as a way to showcase the real Harris to America. What Harris thought would endear her to the public has now officially become yet another albatross around her neck. Second, Trump sent a message to America and the world that no job is beneath him—even if that job is slinging fries in a place the elites wouldn’t be caught dead in. Trump proved that he can relate to the people who do the menial jobs, and there is no job too small for him to want to gain an understanding. Sure, Trump won’t actually be flipping burgers for a living. But that wasn’t the point. The message was loud and clear: Trump’s willing to do what most elites wouldn’t dream of, and in doing so, he took a dig at the very people who look down on working-class Americans. The brilliance of it? It was a PR stunt that dug its claws deep into the psyche of American voters.
The McDonald's stunt didn’t just play to Trump's base. One commenter on the video above wrote: I heard he salted the fries with the tears of libs No, this stunt spoke to anyone who’s ever felt the condescension of elites. Think about it: A billionaire former president steps into what many people consider one of the most “menial” jobs out there, and gave it credibility. Donald Trump just made the job of working at McDonald's respectable in the eyes of millions. And as media buzzed around it, the message wasn’t lost: Trump, the "billionaire for the people," is willing to get his hands greasy. That’s something Harris—and the rest of the Democratic
