Katie talks to Palestinian historian Rashid Khalidi about how history shapes the present moment and to Jill Stein about her presidential run. Jill Stein (https://www.jillstein2024.com/) is the Green Party's presidential nominee for 2024. She is a Harvard-educated doctor, a pioneering environmental health advocate, and an organizer for people, planet, and peace. She was a principal organizer for the Global Climate Convergence for People, Planet, and Peace over Profit. Rashid Khalidi (https://history.columbia.edu/person/khalidi-rashid/) is the Edward Said professor of modern Arab studies at Columbia University and was an advisor to the Palestinian delegation to the Madrid and Washington Arab-Israeli peace negotiations from October 1991 until June 1993.
