On this episode, I open with a story that shook Hawaii in 2018 causing widescale panic, and how that relates to another system failure in the state this year during the devastating wildfires. Tonight in this special report, I discuss the mismanagement of the crisis and how residents were unaware of the wildfires due to sirens not being sounded. The official in charge of turning on those sirens said he does not regret failing to do so. The water system collapsed, communication was nonexistent, and many died as there was nowhere else to go. In an exclusive interview, I spoke with Charmaine Doran, a member of the Pearl City Neighborhood board who has over 30 years of experince in government.
