Monday is in full effect! I hope everyone's week jumps off to a solid start! Today's topic is one I have struggled heavily with in my life. I was always trying to make myself better or more than in the eyes of everyone else. Not better than them, but better than I currently was. I was consistently chasing a "perfect version" of myself to be more attractive or more financially well off, or skinnier or smarter or anything. I was never content with who I was, I was never enough. As I started learning about self awareness, personal growth, happiness, peace and priorities...I realized that I was going about it the wrong way. I was constantly trying to fix myself. I never once thought that I had a place to start off from, a baseline to grow from. It's impossible to set a goal, when you don't have a starting point. Are you struggling with feeling like you are less than? Like you need to get better to be who you want to be? Let me tell you, right now, in this moment, you are enough. Whatever things you want to achieve, whatever past you are trying to run from, what ever future you are trying to run to...you are wholly and completely enough in this moment. Sit in that thought, take a moment and just breath it in. It's so important. So what now? If I am enough in this moment. How do I improve myself. Knowing that this moment, right now is your baseline of being enough. Evaluate your current situation. Not what you hope to be or where you want to be...but where you are. Your strengths AND weaknesses. Then evaluate each weakness and figure out which ones would bring you the most value if you improved. Then...start improving on that single weakness. As you go forward in your day to day, make sure to follow the 80/20 rule.
