At some point in the life of an individual, organization or government, they will need to borrow money to fund their projects. Lending agencies will want to ensure that they are creditworthy, which their credit ratings can help determine. A credit rating can be assigned to any entity that seeks to borrow, whether it be an individual, a corporation, a state or a sovereign government. To simplify an otherwise complex issue of credit ratings is Wayne Dass, CEO of Caribbean Information & Credit Rating Services Ltd (CariCRIS).
