Dr. Rodrigo Hasbun: Meningitis

Dr. Rodrigo Hasbun is a Professor of Infectious Diseases at McGovern UTHealth. Dr. Hasbun obtained his MD at the Autonomous University of Central America in Costa Rica. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his fellowship in infectious diseases at Yale University. He received his Masters in Public Health from Tulane University. Dr. Hasbun has performed momentous research on meningitis and endocarditis funded by the NIH, Grant A Starr Foundation, and other recognized organizations. He is a panel member of the first healthcare guidelines for ventriculitis and meningitis, and is the main author for the meningitis chapters in the main infectious diseases textbook: Principles and Practice of Infectious Diseases.
