Ep 171) The Left Destroyed Themselves For One Last Shot At Power & Got A Lame Duck

The slow decline of the left can be traced back to the Obama era as the media, Hollywood and the rest of the left did what they could to prop up Obama and hide what a hateful, anti-American racist Obama was. While they were doing that, Obama was one of the worst things that could have happened to the left leaving the Party in near Bankruptcy and with the least amount of political power they have seen in generations. When Obama left office the GOP had strong majorities in the House, the Senate and closing in on 2/3 of the State legislatures and Governorships. That and Trump was headed into the White House.

It was at this point that the left went completely crazy and went all-in. Abuse of power using the Government to baselessly target their political opponents, a baseless impeachment attempt, the media sacrificing what little credibility they had left, the whatever influence Hollywood had left, and in the end even sacrificing the credibility of the science community as they engaged in covering up the origins of a pandemic they caused and lied to the public as they issued guidelines not based in science but based on politics.

What was the result of all this? sure they got their last shot at being in the majority in DC, the slimmest majority in the House requiring almost 100% of the Democrats to be in agreement to get anything passed. A 50/50 split Senate unable to get any of their agenda through the GOP filibuster, and a lame duck in the White House. The GOP still in control of 30 State legislatures and 26 Governors (The Majority of the States).

To make matters worse for the Democrats, after sacrificing everything they had left for one last shot at power and falling short of what they needed to be able to achieve their goals (Overthrowing the Constitutional Republic) the public backlash is happening faster and stronger than has ever been witnessed in the past. What little Biden can get done in his policy agenda, his actions have resulted in dumpster fires, one crisis after another. The backlash against the Democrats is not just against those holding office in DC, it's at Democrats at all levels of the elected office all the way down to the Shcool Board.

All indications are that the left destroyed themselves for nothing. Putting everything they had left on the line and failed to get enough of a majority to get anything done while at the same time uniting the country across almost all demographic groups more than ever before against the Democrat Party. The 2022 mid-terms are shaping up to be the end of the Democrat Party and Biden/Harris don't seem likely to finish out an entire 4 years term in the White house.
