In this two-part episode, Arivee talks to Amber J. Adams, a Leadership and Career Wellness Coach helping mid-career professionals who feel stuck in the “messy middle” of their careers and scared that they are unconsciously blocking their potential to work and lead with intention, joy, and purpose.
Before becoming a coach, Amber was an advertising executive who dreamed up fun marketing campaigns and had the privilege of leading high-performing creative teams. But like so many of her clients, she desired a pivot!
Today, she is the founder of Amber Career Studio where she creates space for mid-career professionals to sit the weight of leadership and work aside so they can channel their frustration into transformation and rediscover their capacity to move their careers forward.
In this conversation, Arivee and Amber delve into the biggest obstacles people experience when wanting to make a change, especially a professional one. Sometimes these changes are internally generated or externally forced, and we dig into both, including layoffs.
