Heavily-Favored Las Vegas Stunned As NHL Considers ALL-CANADA Hub Cities for Stanley Cup Playoffs

Las Vegas was expected to be one of the two hub cities before some MGM labor concerns were raised last Monday which caused the NHL to say “Hey - fuhgeddaboudit!” The potential of a lawsuit against the NHL was too much to risk. It’s a sad reminder about the old Las Vegas adage that there are no locks!

Meanwhile Vegas’ loss is Canada’s gain. Edmonton and Toronto offer a lot less drama and a lot less COVID. All of which means less hassles for the owners.
