Having just raised a EUR4.1M seed round, Jenny Saft, cofounder at Apryl is hoping to transform the way that employers provide fertility and family forming benefits to employees. From a business background of big corporates, an MBA and then fintech, Jenny moved into healthtech due to personal journey with egg freezing.

Berlin-based Apryl believes that everyone has a right to create a family and they are building solutions for this based on employee benefits.

We discuss the very fragmented European fertility market, what employee fertility and family forming benefits are, why this area is mislabelled as femtech, the power of the employee in a post-pandemic world and the bias that people have in this space when it comes to LGBTQ+ community.
