Show Notes: As we approach the height of the 2019 Hurricane Season, FEMA and GOHSEP would like to ensure private non-profit, religious organizations are aware of recent changes to the Public Assistance program. FEMA funding can be used, in certain cases, to repair or replace damaged facilities back to its pre-disaster design, function and capacity. We will explain that process and hear from leaders from two organizations that have been impacted by this change. Plus, are you prepared for an emergency? We will share census information to let you know if the public is ready for a potential disaster.
