This commercial was put together to pump up the team, and the school, prior to the BIG match-up of the season–Cumberland Valley vs Wilson HS. The boys in particular were quite pumped up for this big match.
As it turned out, CV beat Wilson in this critical “at home” match, and it was a foreshadowing of the State Championship match which, as we all know, was won by CV over Wilson.
Whether this commericial had anything to do with it or not, there was a very large crowd at the match, and so much energy in the natatorium you could FEEL it.
