Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning discuss the abundance of hockey on tap for the day that begins at 6 pm ET with games starting at fifteen minute intervals alongside Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli. The trio get into the Maple Leafs and who or what has impressed the hockey insider the most so far, as well as how much of that is influenced by their new head coach. What would it take for Craig Berube to win the Jack Adams Award this year? Frank also takes a look around the league to talk about some other teams like the upstart Flames and the pointless Predators. Next the morning duo turn their attention back strictly to the Maple Leafs who are back in action tonight in Columbus with Sportsnet’s own Luke Fox (24:47). He shares his take on the team’s statement win last night over Tampa Bay, if this is the best start we’ve seen in the “Core Four” era, the differences we've seen compared to years past, and how the organization plans to navigate some important upcoming salary cap decisions.
