Ready, set, launch! That’s a phrase that builds momentum. It’s a phrase that indicates that the countdown is on. You prepare, you get ready, then you run. Launching… book launching included… is much like that.
Release on the other hand has phrases like just release the tension and release the hounds come with a whole different energy and purpose. It’s like you just open the flood gates and let it go. And, as you can expect it, a book release is the same way.
Launch versus release is a constant battle I help authors better understand on the regular. They aren’t quite sure the difference between the two and there is one; a big one! This episode walks you through the difference between book release and book launch as it pertains to marketing a forthcoming book that maybe you’re in the process of writing.
