The mind is often a primary target for Satan's attacks. He seeks to plant seeds of negativity, including thoughts of abuse, jealousy, and even suicide. Remorse is another powerful emotion that Satan exploits, causing individuals to feel deep regret and sorrow.

When someone experiences remorse, it can quickly transition to depression, among other things. This feeling can make that person a danger to society and themselves. We all experience periods of mental setbacks, so it is crucial to take care of our mental health. Therefore, never take pleasure in someone else's misfortune; ask God for forgiveness if you've been hurt and have unforgiving thoughts or actions. It's important to forgive the person who wronged you. If you have wronged someone, ask God for forgiveness and strive to change your ways to live a pleasing life to the Most High.

Galatians 6:7 says, "Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow."
