This week on the podcast, I spoke with Nilanthi Dayananda, who is an integrative counsellor, wellbeing coach, holistic therapist, and health and wellness mentor. Nilanthi specialises in working with pre and post-partum mums, and parents in general as a couple's therapist.
It was so uplifting to talk to Nilanthi, as she is truly passionate about helping people, and her life's work is centered around this.

I must admit that we did digress a little from solely talking about business, because there were so many interesting topics that came up, and as usual, I simply went with the flow. In it, we talk about:

  • How Nilanthi has always followed her passion and how she knew she wanted to go down the path of helping people.
  • Birth trauma and how she helps women to heal post-birth.
  • Preparation for birth and how to feel empowered during the birthing process.
  • The state of Australia's healthcare system and what could be done to make it more patient-centric.
  • The differences in other birthing cultures around the world compared to Australia's.
  • Nilanthi's volunteering work around the world and why she was driven to help people from disadvantaged countries.
  • How people find out about Nilanthi and how her offering connects body, mind and spirit for the best outcomes.

…and loads, loads more.

If you feel you are a parent or are looking to become one, and especially if you are a parent running a busy business, then you won't want to miss out on this episode.

If you want to find out more about Nilanthi you can check out her website.
