On this episode of the podcast, Jill Sirianni joins us to discuss the topic of contentment vs. complacency when it comes to our finances.

Jill is the co-host of Frugal Friends Podcast and co-author of 'Buy What You Love Without Going Broke', releasing January 2025. She and her husband paid off $60,000 of debt over 7 years while cash flowing her masters degree. As a licensed clinical social worker she’s experienced in doing a lot with a little – from starting small businesses to full-time RVing – all of it was leveraged in her debt pay-off journey.

Helping others is her highest value and integrating her mental health perspective with personal finance is how she supports others to identify, and live out of, what they value most.

WHAT JILL DISCUSSED:

  1. How she defines contentment in the context of personal finances and how can it differ from complacency
  2. How her perspective on contentment and financial management has evolved over time based on her own personal finance journey
  3. Key strategies to strive for financial growth without becoming complacent
  4. Her approach to mindful spending
  5. Advice for overcoming plateaus and reigniting financial growth AND SO MUCH MORE
