On the two-year anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, we explore what is happening now with abortion in the United States, in general, and the Church of Christ community in particular.
Segment One: Tessa Cox, Charlotte Lozier Institute
What overall effect has the Dobbs decision had on the number of abortions happening each year in the United States? Now that Roe v. Wade is history, what comes next for those who dream of a day when abortion disappears?

Segment Two: Scott McConnell, Lifeway Research
In the United States, evangelical Protestant communities (a cohort in which many researchers place the Church of Christ) tend to be vocal and to vote for anti-abortion candidates and policies. But how active and supportive are those communities when it comes to helping children, families, and women in the crises that often lead to abortions?

Link to Lifeway Research study on how much women trust their churches when seeking help in crises that could lead to an abortion
Segment Three: Eric McPherson, Christian Family Services

How has the Dobbs decision changed things "on the ground" for a Christian crisis pregnancy ministry in a state that banned abortion?
