“OH! DAISY DAISY” Four years since we covered Super Mario Odyssey, and 35 years after its release, it's time for Super Mario Land to get the Cane and Rinse podcast treatment. Leon, Chris Worthington, James and Leah raid the cupboards in search of enough batteries to beat the platforming plumber's first portable outing. Which isn't many batteries. Because the game is really short. As usual we also get memories and opinions shared by a number of the game's 18 million plus players as we await Super Mario Land's arrival on the Nintendo Switch. http://media.blubrry.com/caneandrinse/caneandrinse.com/podcast/cane_and_rinse_issue_611.mp3 Music featured in this issue: 1. Marine & Sky Pop by Hirokazu Tanaka2. Muda Kingdom by Hirokazu Tanaka Edited by Jay Taylor You can support Cane and Rinse and in return receive an often extended version of the podcast four weeks early, along with exclusive podcasts, if you subscribe to our Patreon for the minimum of $2 per month (+VAT). Do you have an opinion about a game we're covering that you'd like read on the podcast? Then venture over to our forum and check out the list of upcoming games we're covering. Whilst there you can join in the conversations with our friendly community in discussing all things relating to videogames, along with lots of other stuff too. Sound good? Then come and say hello at The Cane and Rinse forum
