Did you know there's a strong case that Jesus actually led the Exodus and the conquest of Canaan himself? Scripture might actually back that up! There was an old forgotten Jewish view called the Two Powers in Heaven that described God appearing in the form of a man or angel in the Old Testament. It's a view that can be found throughout the Old Testament in many book, particularly in the first five books of the Bible. On this podcast we'll discuss this views as well as some counter opinions by John H. Walton. We hope this will give you a good understanding of both views and help you decide which view you think makes the most sense. Your decision on this issue could actually help connect the Old Testament to the New Testament and reconcile many tough questions about the Bible.
