Every time I think about my journey as a dad, I always remember a quote from John Green that says: “The nature of impending fatherhood is that you are doing something that you're unqualified to do, and then you become qualified while doing it.”

I think of entrepreneurship much the same way. Fatherhood and entrepreneurship — both things aren’t easy— but both are also very rewarding.

Sometimes, being a dad entrepreneur can feel a little bit chaotic and hectic— you’re going to make mistakes, you’re going to fail at things.

But that’s okay— that’s the nature of the game. The important thing is you give it your best and that you love the whole journey and process.

There’s nothing more fulfilling than building something that you own and create, and at the same time, being able to be there for your kids— to watch them learn and grow each day.
