The inspiration for his business struck when a friend offered him an organic coconut smoothie made with just two ingredients: real coconut water and coconut meat. Tasting this simple yet delicious blend, Alex had his "Genius" moment, and the company was born.

With Genius, Alex aspires to make his organic coconut smoothies a fundamental part of the American lifestyle, helping people achieve higher levels of health and happiness. His goal is to bring this nutrition to the mainstream, one bottle at a time.

Before founding Genius, Alex's professional background was diverse. He served as Director of Marketing and Social Media Manager for various start-up food and beverage companies. He also worked as a consultant for office workflow, specializing in technologies like copiers, printers, and scanners. In the non-profit sector, Alex held roles as Director of Events and managed organizations, focusing on marketing events through fundraising and community engagement. Additionally, he worked as a Benefits Consultant, with expertise in health insurance benefits, workers compensation, and private and state disability.
