Hi there! In the second episode of "Talk about a thing," I shared my personal experience of moving to China from Sweden around 6-7 years ago. I talked about the various challenges and interesting things that I encountered during my transition to life in Shanghai.

One of the first things I noticed was the stark contrast in culture and way of life compared to what I was used to back in Sweden. From the bustling streets and crowded public transportation to the language barrier, it was certainly a new and exciting experience. However, it wasn't without its difficulties, and I had to learn how to adapt to my new environment quickly.

During the episode, I discussed some of the specific challenges that I faced, such as navigating the complex and often confusing bureaucracy, adjusting to the food and lifestyle, and dealing with homesickness. I also touched on the cultural differences that I found particularly interesting, like the emphasis on hierarchy and the importance of face-saving in Chinese culture.

Despite the challenges, I found living in China to be an incredibly rewarding experience. I had the opportunity to meet new people, learn a new language, and explore a new and fascinating culture. Overall, it was a journey full of ups and downs, but one that I wouldn't trade for anything.
