Today, Michael welcomes his long-term friend, Babette Davis. Babette is a globally recognized plant-based chef, fitness enthusiast, and motivational speaker who calls Inglewood, CA home. She pioneered her community's first plant-based restaurant, “Stuff I Eat,” in 2008. On the cusp of her 73rd birthday, Babette was recently featured on the Tamron Hall show doing an Eight-Minute plank while discussing her health journey. Her “Cash In on Cashews” cookbook, packed with healthful plant-based dessert recipes, was featured on Home and Family, The Steve Harvey Show, and Access Hollywood. Babette is also often honored by Mercy for Animals for her advocacy work and is a globally sought-after speaker and a headliner for many VegFests around the U.S.

Highlights from Michael and Babette’s laughter-filled conversation include:

Babette’s journey from emotional trauma, drug addiction, and health challenges to plant-based living and fitness

Why food combining and food preparation (the energy you put into your food) are just as important as what you eat

How Babette’s serving plant-based food to congregants in Agape’s parking lot after Sunday services for years evolved into her opening her “Stuff I Eat” restaurant in Inglewood.

Babette’s daily health routine, her animal advocacy, why she prefers the term “plant-based” over “vegan” and why she sees a difference, and a whole lot more!

Next, Michael concludes with a guided meditation on loving your body temple.
