Listen in as Dan Carson and Chris Vines talk about reasons to say "no" to the parents connected to your ministry. Reasons to Say No to Parents:
  1. When parents have wrong expectations.
  2. When a parent's request interferes with the care of your own family.
  3. When a parent's request goes against personal convictions.
  4. When a parent's request conflicts with the mission and/or vision of the church.

Things to Keep In Mind When Saying No to a Parent:

  1. Be respectful.
  2. Show love.
  3. Communicate well.
  4. Don't assume the worst outcome of the conversation.
  5. Trust the Holy Spirit as you walk through the conversation.
