Today I’m honoured to have on the All Time Appearance record holder for Australian Mens Football, Leigh Broxham on the show.
With over 460 appearances for MVFC, which has included highlights such as 3 premiers plates, 4 champions, 2 FFA Cup, captaining the team against Steven Gerarrd’s Liverpool in front of 95,000 fans at the MCG and working with big name managers like Ange Postecoglou and Kevin Muscat.
Brox has been there, through thick and thin since day 1 of the club and his endeavours were eventually rewarded with a Socceroo’s cap.
Having lived as a professional for 19 seasons, I can’t think of many better athletes to share their wisdom around the constant STRIVING for your dreams and the importance of pushing hard every day to ensure you can stay ahead of the chasing pack.
