6'7 Professional basketball player, Nigel Byam was born and raised in Brooklyn with strong Caribbean roots. Spending ample amount of time in his parents birthplace of Grenada, he is a well rounded individual who can attest his up bringing to that of the streets of Flatbush (Brooklyn,NY) and Grenada. Not a product of his environment Nigel always stood aside from the rest and saw his life apart from the streets that seemed to downgrade the youth in the area into a dark hole. He always had a passion for basketball and utilizing his ability in the sport. Upon being afforded the opportunity to play college basketball. A man that stands alone in his class he is a man of the respect, whose goal is to inspire and motivate others. All that he can attribute to his success in life, is given up to positive thinking and taking action to always be determine and going for his goals.
