Listening. It might seem like a natural process- one that doesn’t need to be learned or practiced. But if you constantly find yourself saying things to your former spouse like "You never listen to me!", "That’s not what I said!" or "Are you going to let me talk now?!" then you already know there’s a big difference between listening and just hearing. Even though it might be the last thing you want to do, listening – really listening, can be the first step towards an amicable co-parenting relationship. In today’s episode we explain what active listening is, how to do it and why being a good listener and getting curious about your partner’s point of view can reduce conflict and get your own thoughts and feelings heard as well.

We want to hear from you! Scroll down & leave us a voice message OR email us your questions/rants/wins to jennifer@sandersmediation.ca and we will answer/discuss/celebrate during the following episode.
