Do you ever struggle with social media? What about figuring out how to make new and deep friendships during busy seasons of life? Well, today I am sitting down with my friend Jamie Ivey, and we talk about it all! Jamie Ivey is the host for The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey podcast, speaker, and author of her bestselling book If You Only Knew: My Unlikely, Unavoidable Story of Becoming Free.

In this episode, Jamie and I reflect how it was somewhat difficult for us to navigate our new friendship during a very transitional season in both of our lives. I share how I battled lies that I was stepping into her “territory” when I decided I wanted to launch a podcast. We share how our friendship has evolved and the unique ways we have learned to support one another and give grace. We talk a lot about what social media looks like in our lives and how we are learning to navigate using it and not falling into the trap of comparison. Jamie graciously shares the role her faith has played in helping her understand her role in the world, and what she is learning about how to balance life as a working mom.
