In a world filled with social media highlight reels and the constant need for validation, comparison has become an all too familiar feeling for many in the online business space. However, I truly believe that comparison does more harm than good. This week, we will discuss practical tips for overcoming the comparison game and shifting towards growth and gratitude in your business and life.
Topics Covered In This Episode:
1. Comparison causes emotional imbalance, hindering personal growth and business success.
2. Social media highlights can evoke feelings of guilt and inadequacy, leading to comparison, but unfollowing or muting triggers on social media is okay for protecting mental well-being.
3. Sharing wins and expressing gratitude can combat feelings of envy within peer groups and coaching calls.
4. Comparison triggers often stem from underlying insecurities rather than logical reasons, so identifying where comparison is felt in the body and uncovering the root insecurities can help overcome envy.
5. Moving from comparison to gratitude and growth opens the door to personal and professional progress.
6. The growth game is more rewarding than the comparison game - focus on personal growth and goals.
7. Consider seeking 1 on 1 support and mentorship to navigate comparison and accelerate business growth.
