When facing a new challenge, where do you turn first for answers?

In the past couple of decades, many of us would say the experts (or Google, lol!). We feel frustrated, overwhelmed, uncertain - and we turn to the experts. Don't get me wrong - there is value in knowledge, expertise, and specialized skills.

However - you are the expert in your child. You are the expert in their needs, their wants, their triggers. It's true - if you ask 10 different experts for advice, you'll get 10 different pieces of advice. Which is right?

In this episode, we'll discuss where the true answers are to best help your child - and why these answers are so HARD to find!

About your host, Angie Grandt - The Adoption Coach

Angie Grandt is the Adoption Coach. She is also an early intervention speech therapist with extensive training and experience in trauma, attachment, and autism. Angie is on a mission to help parents who are overwhelmed, frustrated, and questioning their ability to parent their most challenging child. She helps parents with practical tools to connect, enjoy, and even like their child again.

Angie is also the founder of Connected Parents with Angie - a coaching program designed for you - the loving and capable parent who can't figure out why raising your child is so frustrating, so overwhelming, and causing you to question your ability to parent. Using her unique approach of trauma-focused mindset lesson and coaching tools, Angie helps her clients get back to a life they love - creating cherished memories, feeling fulfilled in relationships, and letting go of frustration, resent, and overwhelm.
