On today's show we are first joined by Rachel Castillo, Executive Director for Advocates for Children. Today they are launching their inaugural Giving Day for Advocates with a goal of raising $10,000 to go toward their programs and capital improvements. Then, in the final hour, we are joined by Katie Martin, the Executive Director for Keep Bartow Beautiful. We got an update on the Great America Clean-Up actions they've already hosted. At this point, nearly 5,000 pounds of trash was collected along some of our roadways, not including tires or other large items that would not fit in a trash bag. Katie also mentioned a river clean-up on May 31 between Hardin Bridge and Neel's Landing and they will also provide kayaks for those who don't have their own.
