Chief Giacomo Sacca is the Chief of Police for the City of Elizabeth and is responsible for all police operations. He is a highly experienced law enforcement professional with 28 years of experience and an impressive track record in crisis management, tactical operations, criminal intelligence, and emergency management.

In addition to his role as agency administrator, Chief Sacca is the Superintendent of the John H. Stamler Police Academy and President of the Union County Police Chief’s Association. He is also actively involved in numerous other organizations, including the board of trustees for the 313 Ancestor's Speak Project and the executive board member of the Italian American Police Society of New Jersey.

Chief Sacca is also an accomplished academic, holding a Master of Arts in Security Studies, Homeland Security and Defense from the United States Naval Postgraduate School.
