Hello, everyone! In this episode of Redesign Your Life, I shared the exhilarating experience of going skiing for the first time with my family at Appalachian Ski Mountain in Boone, North Carolina. Despite the freezing temperatures, we embraced the challenge and the fun that came with learning to ski.

My cousin, an avid skier, played the role of both host and instructor, guiding us through the process of getting the right equipment and giving us a crash course in skiing. We started on the bunny slope, where we had a few falls but quickly got the hang of it. The thrill of the sport was undeniable, and we even captured some of these moments on video to share with you all.

We then graduated to a larger slope, which was a significant step up from the bunny slope. The speed was surprising, and although I took a tumble at the bottom trying to avoid some snowboarding equipment, it was all part of the fun. My wife also had her share of spills but got right back up, embodying the spirit of perseverance we always talk about on the podcast.

Our son turned out to be a natural, confidently offering to teach us after he had his own learning experience. It was a day filled with laughter, love, and the creation of lasting memories, which is what we always strive for. We even considered making this an annual family tradition.

This month's focus is on "release" - letting go of negative emotions and appreciating what we have built. This ski trip was a perfect example of living in the moment and enjoying the fruits of our labor.
