Umaimah Sharwani created Paro because she loves eating Pakistani food more than anything else. What started with her mom sending ziplock bags with her own special lentil and spice mix, the idea for Paro was born. Umaimah tested recipes with friends at dinner parties sharing her favorite Pakistani comfort foods.
