In today’s episode, Whitney connects with Sara Dykman to discuss her book, “Bicycling with Butterflies.” Sarah, an amphibian biologist, educator and writer, shares her inspiring journey of pedaling more than 10,000 miles alongside monarch butterflies during their epic migration across three countries.
Sara set out solo, riding a bike she put together from spare parts, with a mission to raise awareness of the plight of the monarchs. What she didn’t expect were the experiences, relationships and lessons that unfolded on her ride.
