Today I speak with Jess, a Registered Nurse, an International Board Lactation Consultant
and a Children's & Family Health Nurse. Jess provides quality care in the
form of home visits to families in the postpartum period and beyond. Her
expertise in the public system as an Early Childhood family nurse and now as an
IBCLC means she can approach her work in a holistic personalised and
family-centred way.
With the opening of her practice Ilumina Family Health, Jess has built strong
partnerships with local Sydney Obstetricians to fill a gap in the system of
those leaving private hospitals and perhaps not receiving the same pathway to
follow-up care.
In addition, Jess is a mother of two and brings understanding, passion and a LOT
of compassion into her services.
