In this episode I talk to a fabulous recent connection of mine and kindred spirit, Becca Scott.

Becca has been a Homeopath since 2009, a Reflexologist since 2001 and has added Accredited Divorce and Breakup Coaching in 2023. She specialises in Women's Health with a particular focus on gynaecological, auto-immune and hormone issues.

Becca is also mum and step mum to four wonderful teenage boys and a little girl.

In this episode we speak about:

  • What led Becca to the work she does today
  • lichen sclerosus, how it presents and sadly how common a misdiagnosis is
  • the huge importance of knowing our anatomy (mostly the difference between the vagina and the vulva)
  • the link between toxic relationships and certain conditions
  • my work with baby massage and starting early with reverence for the body
  • how we're not taught to communicate 'difficult' stuff and why this is a problem
  • Jessica Pin's story and her work in clitoral advocacy
  • Bek Antonucci and her work de-shaming herpes
  • learning about and feeling our emotions fully
  • difficult relationships ending and how that can affect us
  • letting go of shame and being advocates for ourselves and our health

Themes: lichen sclerosus, vulval and vaginal conditions, herpes, relationship difficulties, trauma, sex
