Alec Crawford welcomes Jane Carpenter, identity theft and data breach expert to the show. Jane talks about her career, including senior positions at Wang Laboratories, Digital Equipment Corporation, and the Maine Attorney General's office, where she focused on identity theft before starting her own company. There, she helped train police departments and participated occasionally helping lawmakers as they considered new laws. She explains the recent shift towards stealing email credentials and corporate hacks and how to protect yourself. The weak link is still the human...and reusing your bad passwords!
