Sun Xianchong of the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech) joins to share about a novel method to fabricate cooling structures for energy storage systems (aka battery packs). In partnership with the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC), they fabricate stainless steel micro port tubes (SS-MPT) to efficiently carry coolant away from the heat source.
