Robert works through Romans 9 with us, examining the Jewish prejudice towards Gentiles and their inclusion in the kingdom of God, and how we often see that similar prejudice towards people who are different than we are today. Where does God’s mercy and grace feel unfair? Where does the righteous oldest child rear its head inside of you, insisting that you deserve more or better than someone else when it comes to being good? The thing is, our good works don’t make us good people. And that’s a good thing.
