In this episode we spoke with writer and thinker Charles Eisenstein. We began by discussing the role of Narrative in shaping our reality and how stories drive human and social behavior in science, politics and culture. But maybe humans are not the only storytellers, we might be more like actors or agents in a story that put into words something that is much bigger than words. We spoke about the Story of Separation and some of the conditions that might lead us to a Story of Interbeing where Health is not a consequence of the system, but the system itself. We spoke about the limits of science as a tool and as a worldview, and how being heretics and risking craziness is important to co-create new paradigms for our interdependent, fragile, beautiful world. Charles Eisenstein is a public speaker and author. His work has to do with the history of human civilization, economics, spirituality, and the ecology movement. Key themes include anti-consumerism, interdependence, and how myth and narrative influence reality. According to Charles, global culture is immersed in a destructive "story of separation", and one of the main goals of his work is to present an alternative "story of interbeing".
