Hurricane season officially begins June 1, and Colorado State University has predicted a historically active season for 2024.

Patrick Forand is a certified incident commander and FEMA instructor and was a contract manager at the Florida Department of Health for more than 16 years. He currently leads emergency management, disaster planning, and response for CAN Community Health.
