Confidence is one of the most important traits for a barber to have. Whether you're just starting out or you've been in the business for years, it's essential that you project confidence in your work. This doesn't mean that you should be cocky or arrogant, but rather that you should believe in your ability to provide a great experience for your clients. Confidence will help you to stay calm under pressure and make sure that each client leaves happy.

Being consistent is also important for any barber. Your clients should be able to rely on you to provide the same high level of service every time they come in. This means showing up on time, being well-prepared, and having a consistent grooming routine. If you can be counted on to provide a great experience every time, you'll build a loyal following of clients who will keep coming back. Tune in to this episode and hear more stories from them

In this episode, Mr. T.I.M. talks with Fernando Feliciano. Fernando was born and raised in Milwaukee and has been cutting hair since he was 8 years old, when he first started giving his brother and friends haircuts. Now, as a professional barber, he still enjoys helping people feel good about themselves by giving them the perfect haircut.

Highlights:

01:29 - It's more about inspiring people, talking to people, the conversations you have with your client and stuff, making them feel good about themselves.

02:48 - It takes a lot of more than what people think of just standing there and making money or cutting hair and getting a good fade. It’s more about how that person likes it.

05:52 - You`re born and raised here. There shouldn’t be one person that you know or ever know that doesn`t know that you`re a barber.

13:43 - The only thing is, I should have taken this career a lot more seriously earlier.
