In this third and final week of the fast, Yemi and Philia discuss this week's theme, Obeying God's Voice. The reading is from Judges chapters 6 and 7. We take a look into the story of Gideon and his reluctant obedience. We learn that obedience to God is required to unlock God's plan and blessings for us and that obedience requires faith. God's plans and purposes for our lives is beyond just us. We get in our own way because we a thinking small and God's vision is big. We become reluctant when he reveals his vision to us and we respond with our insecurities. No matter what we think of ourselves or how reluctant we may be to step out on faith, God's words will not fail. We just need to get out of our own way in order to complete the mission. God has prepared the way already. Are you ready to step out on faith? Are you ready to unlock blessings through obedience?
