Funding for science research has become increasingly difficult to obtain and with this in mind, The Peer Review team decided to look into alternative funding sources and discovered "Crowdfunding". It's the new age way of getting your project funded by posting it up online and attracting the attention of the general public who provide small donations that amount to a large sum to help make your project possible. In this episode, we interview two research teams who successfully crowdfunded their research projects and pick their brains for tips on how to get started and how to do it right!
